Introducing New E-Signature & PDF Editor Capabilities in Egnyte
We are thrilled to announce the rollout of the new E-sign feature now available to all Struers users. This tool will streamline the digital signing of documents and efficiently manage internal and external signature requests.
E-Sign Session Overview For a comprehensive understanding of how to utilize this new feature, we have a detailed session that Egnyte conducted in May. Watch the session here to learn about the functionalities of signing documents and initiating signature requests.
How to Use the E-Sign Feature:
- Initiating a Signature Request:
- Identify the document that requires a signature.
- Right-click the document and select "Send for signature."
- In the customization window, enter the recipients' email addresses (both internal and external are supported).
- Customize the document by adding fields like "Signature" to indicate where recipients should sign.
- Include a personalized message, set a signing expiration date, and specify a file location for the signed document.
- Click "Send Signature Request" to forward the document for signing.
- Tracking and Managing Requests:
- Use the "Workflows and Signatures" option on the left-hand side of Egnyte's interface to monitor the status of your signature requests.
- Signing a Document Yourself:
- Follow the same steps as initiating a signature request, but enter your email address.
- Respond to the email in your inbox, sign the document, and return it to yourself.
- The signed PDF can then be forwarded to the intended recipient.
Additional Editing Features:
- PDF Editing: Beyond digital signatures, you can edit PDF files directly within Egnyte. For guidelines and tips on PDF editing, please visit PDF Viewing and Editing – Egnyte.
- Real-time Co-editing: Enhance collaboration during meetings by co-editing documents. Everyone in a Teams meeting can see edits in real-time, improving workflow and discussion. Learn more about this functionality here.
